Working with Drone Footage

During my time at Columbia Memorial Hospital, the hospital began an extensive $300 Million expansion. I had the opportunity to get my drone license and my department purchased a DJI 3 drone to use for aerial video production. As part of the construction process, a third party drone operator was hired to map the area out. His footage was made available to the marketing department so that I could combine it with the footage I captured to showcase the construction progress. This video is the result of my first iteration on this project. I used Adobe After Effects to track the text on some of the shots and I was able to familiarize myself with both flying and filming with a drone, as well as editing with that type of footage.
