When it Looks so Good it Looks Staged

These are all candid shots. I did nothing to position people or stage things. The brilliance of a great candid shot is that it almost looks staged, but it's perfectly real and natural. In this collection are project directors, CEO's, and even U.S. Senator Bonamici. The trick to getting shots like these is twofold. First, you need to be in the right position to catch the right moment. The Second is to take a lot of photos so that you can grab that fleeting moment of perfection. These photos were extensively used by the BuildCMH Expansion Project and Columbia Memorial Hospital, and I am quite proud of the work.
